Mgr. Yvona Kreuzmannová
founder and director of Tanec Praha
Yvona studied economics of tourism at the University of Economics Prague, from where she transferred to the dance department at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague to study theory, history and dramaturgy. In 1990 she received a scholarship in Paris where she decided once and for all to organize the TANEC PRAHA international festival. Thus in 1991 she founded a civic association of the same name, later a society transformed into a registered institution. From September 2006 to September 2008 she worked as an external advisor, first to the deputy minister, and later the minister of culture of the Czech Republic. She also accepted an offer from the Government Office and was responsible for the official opening of the Czech Presidency of the EU Council in Brussels – the Czech Ball event (January 2009).
She is active in international networks and juries, worked for three years at the IETM (Informal European Theatre Meeting) and co-founded Trans Danse Europe. In 2009 she was asked to join the leadership of the Aerowaves network, which she had also co-founded, as its Associate Director. She managed the M4m project with the support of the EU Culture program and was the artistic director of the Plzen 2015 project, when the city was granted the prestigious title of European Capital of Culture. After a series of personnel changes she renewed her collaboration with Plzen for 2014 – 2016 and beyond.
Her highest award is the Knight's Order of Merit from the President of France, which was given to her for her outstanding contributions to the development of European cultural cooperation.
As the statutory body of Tanec Praha she is also responsible for the TANEC PRAHA Festival.
Co-Director of the TANEC PRAHA Festival
After graduating from the Prague Dance Conservatory in 1990, Markétawas for seven years a soloist at the Pavel Šmok Prague Chamber Ballet and also collaborated in many independent projects both at home and abroad. She won the Thálie Award for excellence in dance in 1995. In 1997 she accepted an engagement as a soloist in the Ballet de l'Opéra national de Lyon, where she performed until 2010. From 2009 – 2010 she studied an arts management program in Lyon, and since 2010 she has worked with Tanec Praha as a member of its Arts Committee. In November 2011 she was appointed as the co-director of the TANEC PRAHA Festival and moved permanently to Prague.
Bc. Alena Brožová

She studied at the Duncan Centre Conservatory in Prague, Bc. at FF UPOL – Department of Theory and History of Dramatic Arts and a six-month study program ERASMUS at The University of Groningen of Faculty of Arts / Arts, Culture and Media in the Netherlands (post-dramatic theater). After graduating she worked in the commercial sector (Event Specialist). Since 2009 is part of the team of Tanec Praha, who brings her diverse roles.
Mgr. Veronika Hladká
Manager of the TANEC PRAHA IN REGIONS Festival
She studied Culture Management at the Masaryk's University in Brno. She graduated year study Erasmus program at Royal Holloway, University of London. Although always particularly interested in the visual arts and music, enthused for contemporary dance. In the organization Tanec Praha she works since 2010.
